Become a Board Member

Thank you for your interest in becoming our Vice-Chair and/or a Board Member.

This is an exciting time for Taff as we are about to adopt a new Strategic Plan that will shape and direct our way forward. We will be focused on providing great quality homes and services to our tenants and supporting communities to thrive. The Board will play a key role in making sure we deliver our commitments, by holding the Executive team to account with the right balance of both support and challenge.

Over 30% of our tenants and customers are from non-white backgrounds. We are committed to making sure our Board reflects the communities we serve. We are therefore particularly interested in encouraging, supporting, and recruiting people of colour. This isn’t about ‘tick box’ representation – it’s about making sure we have the right skills and lived experience around the table. Achieving a  Board reflective of the communities we serve, will not only help us make better decisions, it will send a clear message that we are an organisation that values diversity and is taking positive steps on our journey becoming truly diverse and inclusive organisation.

Ideally, on this occasion, we are looking to recruit Taff tenants to our Board, however, we are interested in hearing from anyone who is passionate about delivering great homes and services and who can demonstrate our values of;

always LEARNING, and
