Salary: £12,124 per annum Contractual hours: 17.5 hours per week between Monday to Friday Contract type: Fixed term contract until 31/03/2025, which may be extended
We have an exciting opportunity for a Tenant Support Worker to join our busy support services team in The Lighthouse Project in Newport.
The Lighthouse Project team provide housing-related support to adults and families living in Newport, who are facing potential homelessness or struggling to maintain their tenancies.
To help us achieve positive outcomes we work closely with many organisations such as Citizens Advice, Job Centre Plus, DWP, Local Authorities & Social Services to ensure that the people we support have access to all the relevant services that are available to them.
Our office is based in Stow Park Church Community Centre, which is a bustling environment for the local community, providing many services including access to a Trussell Trust Foodbank that reaches out across Newport to those most in need.
The role can be challenging; At Taff we work in a psychologically informed way and aim to build resilience in trauma affected people, which can bring many challenging emotions.
