We are pleased to announce the appointment of David Pettitt as our new Executive Director of Operations.
Already a valued member of Team Taff, Dave joins the Executive Team, having most recently served as Head of Property. Over the past two years, he has progressed through a number of roles within the organisation, building a strong understanding of our homes, services and communities.
As Head of Property, Dave led our repairs and maintenance services, statutory compliance programme and asset decarbonisation work. He has overseen delivery against the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS), making sure our homes continue to meet high standards of safety, quality and energy efficiency. During this time, he has strengthened compliance, supported improvements in service performance and investment planning, and maintaining a strong focus on resident safety and customer experience.
Dave began his career in housing on the frontline as a customer repairs operative, giving him direct insight into residents’ day-to-day experiences and the importance of reliable, responsive services. His progression into senior leadership reflects both his operational expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality homes and support.
In his new role, Dave will provide strategic oversight of our Housing & Communities, Support Services, and Property Services functions. Working closely with colleagues, the Board and customers, he will play a central role in delivering our Strategic Plan and aligning our Customer Voice, Support Services and Asset Management Strategies. This includes maintaining a strong focus on regulatory assurance, service quality, and expanding and strengthening our support delivery across local authority areas.
