Taff Housing Association announces the departure of Chief Executive, Helen White.

Taff Housing announces today (27th October 2025) that Chief Executive Helen White will be stepping down from her role in January 2026, after more than six years of leading the organisation.

Helen has accepted a new position, and her departure from Taff will see her take on the role of Chief Executive at Denbighshire County Council.

Since joining Taff in 2019, Helen has led the organisation through a period of significant growth and change.

Speaking about her time at Taff, Helen said: “It has been an absolute privilege to be Chief Executive at Taff for the last 6 years.  I am really proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to seeing the organisation continue to thrive. I would like to thank Taff tenants, Board members, my colleagues, our partners and stakeholders. I will miss being part of such a fantastic team.”  

Peter Curran, Chair of the Board at Taff, said: “I wish to offer Helen my warmest congratulations on securing this prestigious position. It is richly deserved and is testament to Helens ability, leadership and commitment to the communities we serve. On behalf of the Board, I wish Helen all the very best for the future and look forward to learning of her future successes.” 

The Board will now start the process of finding Taff’s next Chief Executive.
