We want to play our part in making our properties more energy efficient.
Taff will do this in part through Welsh Government rolling out the Optimised Retrofit Programme (ORP). This programme will reduce carbon emissions across all our homes.
What is the Optimised Retrofit Programme (ORP) ?
It is a Welsh Government project that is designed to make your home more energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
This may be through building fabric improvements and low and zero-carbon technologies to heat your home more efficiently.
We want to ensure that we focus on making our homes more energy efficient to minimise fuel bills for our tenants.
There are enormous environmental benefits, but our main focus will be ensuring our properties are more affordable for our tenants, as well as addressing existing issues such as damp mould and condensation and improving indoor air quality.
Through this work Taff can help tackle fuel poverty and improve living conditions. Creating better, more comfortable environments for our tenants.
