What is happening?
On the 24th February 2025 Public Procurement rules are changing and will shape how Taff and other public bodies buy Goods and Services in the future. The changes are aimed at removing some of the barriers that SME’s face when bidding for contracts and improving transparency around procurement and contract performance.
What are the benefits?
- Greater standardisation and streamlining of procurement processes
- A Central Digital Platform has been designed in Wales to allow a ‘Tell us once approach’ for key Supplier information
- Greater transparency and improved oversight of procurement decisions
- Strengthening payment term

From 24th February 2025, suppliers will be able to register on the central digital platform – the new enhanced Find a Tender service.
To help prospective suppliers and other stakeholders prepare, GOV.UK have published video guides with accompanying PDF user manuals.
